About the program

What exactly happens in the 12 weeks?

image

Over 12 weekly sessions, we prepare you emotionally for your surgery, support you directly after the procedure, and guide you through the important phase of integrating the changes into your self-concept. Each session is structured yet adapted to your individual needs.

How is the program structured before and after surgery?

image

The first 4 sessions focus on preparation and mental readiness. 2 sessions take place shortly after your surgery to support your recovery emotionally. The remaining 6 sessions help you strengthen your confidence, manage expectations, and create lasting positive changes.

Can the sessions be customized to my personal needs?

image

Yes, absolutely. While the program provides a research based framework, each session is individually tailored to your situation, your emotions, and your personal goals.

What if my surgery date changes – can the program adjust?

image

Of course. We can flexibly adjust the session timing to your new surgery date to ensure you get the right support at the right time.

What if I don’t have surgery in the end. Can I still benefit from the program?

image

Yes. Many psychological themes we work on (such as self-esteem, body image, and emotional resilience) are valuable even if you ultimately decide against surgery.

Will you pressure me about my decision to have surgery?

image

No. This program is completely supportive and non-judgmental. Your decision is fully respected! We are aiming to strengthen your emotional wellbeing, not to influence your choices.

Is there an intake or consultation before I commit to the program?

image

Yes. You can book a free 20-minute initial consultation to see if the program is a good fit for you and to answer any personal questions you may have.
